SCHOOL REPORT ON BANK VISIT BY COMMERCE STUDENTS

As part of the curriculum enrichment activities, the commerce students of class XII visited HDFC Bank, Sakchi Branch on 15th April, 2025. The objective of the visit was to provide students with practical exposure to the functioning of a commercial bank and to enhance their understanding of banking concepts learned in class.

The session covered the basic structure of a bank, types of services offered, and the importance of banks in the economy. Students then toured various sections of the bank, including Customer Service, Accounts, Loans, and Digital Banking.

During the visit, students observed the process of opening and maintaining bank accounts, the use of cheques and passbooks, the working of ATMs, and were introduced to digital banking tools like mobile and internet banking.

The students actively interacted with the bank staff, asked questions, and expressed keen interest in the operations. The visit proved to be an informative and educational experience, providing a real-world perspective on banking services and their significance in everyday life.

Conclusion:
The bank visit was a successful initiative that bridged the gap between classroom learning and practical knowledge. It helped students gain a clearer understanding of the banking sector and sparked interest in financial literacy and careers in commerce.
