On 10th September, Dayanand Public School, Jamshedpur, in collaboration with Jeevan Parivaar, organised an awareness rally to observe Suicide Prevention Day. The event aimed to promote mental health awareness and highlight the importance of seeking timely help.
The rally, held in the gracious presence of Vice Principal, Ms. Archana Rehal, witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 50 students. Carrying pamphlets and placards with powerful messages, the students raised thought-provoking slogans to engage the community and spread the message of hope and support.
A captivating Nukkad Natak (street play) was also performed by the students, showcasing the importance of empathy, emotional well-being, and collective efforts to prevent suicide. The performance drew the attention of onlookers and inspired meaningful conversations on mental health.
The initiative was a resounding success, reinforcing the belief that small efforts can lead to big changes. It served as a reminder that every life is precious, and together, we can create a more compassionate and supportive society.
