HUNCH, the highly anticipated inter-school fest hosted annually by Dayanand Public School, was successfully held on 8th August 2025. Known for its vibrant atmosphere and enriching competitive spirit, the event once again proved to be a spectacular platform for young minds to come together, express their talents, and celebrate creativity, innovation, and
knowledge.
The grand inauguration ceremony was graced by Mr. Gian Taneja, Chairman, Shiksha Samity, and Mr. Rajiv Talwar, Vice-Chairman, Shiksha Samity. The event was further honoured by the presence of all trustee members, along with the participation of enthusiastic teachers and students, who added to the energy of the day.
This year, 20 schools from Jamshedpur participated, making the fest truly competitive and spirited. A total of 13 competitions were organized, which included:
- 7 On-stage events – Showcasing speech, drama, music, dance, and live performances
- 6 Off-stage events – Encompassing art, and other intellectually stimulating activities
Each competition was thoughtfully designed to test a wide range of student skills— from leadership and teamwork to communication and critical thinking. The event grounds buzzed with excitement as students participated with enthusiasm, cheered on by peers and teachers alike.
The Closing Ceremony was honoured by the presence of Mr. Pramod Dubey, renowned educationist, who served as the Chief Guest. In his inspiring address, he applauded the young participants and emphasized the importance of such events in shaping well-rounded individuals. Mr. Dubey also felicitated the winners, acknowledging their exceptional performances.

The day was not just a celebration of competition, but also of collaboration. HUNCH 2025 reaffirmed Dayanand Public School’s commitment to providing meaningful opportunities for holistic student development and fostering strong inter-school relationships.
