School Hosts Mock United Nations Conference on Climate Change 2025

On 6th November 2025, the History Department of Dayanand Public School, Sakchi, Jamshedpur, successfully organized a Mock United Nations Conference on Climate Change 2025 in the Multipurpose Hall. The event was a grand affair, graced by the esteemed presence of Principal Mrs. Swarna Mishra and Vice Principal Ms. Archana Rehal.

The conference was organized under the able guidance of Mrs. Vimmi Sokhi, Head of the History Department, and saw the participation of 21 UN countries, including 5 permanent members. The students, representing different countries, engaged in a thought-provoking discussion on the crucial topic of Climate Change, showcasing their exceptional oratory skills, diplomacy, and leadership abilities.

The event was a testament to the students’ hard work and dedication, as they came well-prepared and presented their country’s stance on the issue with confidence and conviction. The conference provided a unique platform for students to understand the workings of the United Nations, develop critical thinking, and foster global awareness.

We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to the teachers of the History Department,( Tr Tabassum Ghazala, Tr Tasmin Saba, Tr Usha Rani, Tr Priyam Roy ) who worked tirelessly to make this event a success. Their dedication, hard work, and commitment to excellence were instrumental in making this event a memorable one.

The event culminated with the distribution of participating certificates to the students by Principal Ma’am, Mrs. Swarna Mishra, who appreciated the efforts of the students and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence.

The Mock UN Conference was a resounding success, and the History Department is proud of the students’ outstanding performance. Kudos to the organizers, participants, and everyone involved in making this event a memorable one!
